In 1963 Leendert Hoffland and his son Jan founded Hoffland. You can say it’s a real familybusiness.
Hoffland rented an old depot in the middle of Zeist, the Netherlands. At that time they traded in old metals and they distributed containers with their own trucks.
In 1972 Hoffland was taken over by Leendert Marinus (Leo) Hoffland. Under his direction the company developped further in terms of metal recycling.
The subsequent growth was fast and making the move to their current location in Den Dolder necessary. Since then Hoffland has also been focussing on industrial demolition.
Hoffland today
In 1996 Theo Koelewijn and Elias Hoffland took over the company. They have developped Hoffland in the medium-sized and modern company it is today!
